 The Ting Tong Club is an immersive night for mind-bending after-dark action, think Elrow meets Puscha in its glory days. I was part of a team of three creatives to fully conceptualise, implement and launch this event on Saturday 12.03.16, at a road blocked Ministry of Sound.

 
 

 The Ting Tong Club DNA is a combination of the Thai meaning for crazy 'ting tong' and the fundamentals of a great party: style, drama and art. Every aspect of the look, feel and tone of voice went through The Ting Tong Club filter to create a strong foundation to build and develop the brand. From exclusive membership cards, to the teaser campaign, event production, performance, merchandise and social media. 

CALL ME ... HONK HONK X

The Ting Tong Club ran a teaser campaign, inspired by prostitute calling cards with online content supported at street level with stickers, fly posters and stencils.

Low on branding, high on intrigue, the teaser listed the 'Naked. Fat. Sexy. Dangerous.' strap line alongside an 'X' and a hot line number with a specially recorded sexy Tong Tong voice message.

The campaign also featured a pair of stockinged and high heeled legs ...

 
 

To breath life into The Ting Tong Club we decided to collaborate with illustrator and digital artist Reilly and his signature style of found imagery, pattern and hand rendered mark making.

Commissioning a collage of dark fashion and gothic horror, the imagery was composed within an 'X' to add further layers of mystery and suggested cult meaning for The Ting Tong Club audience to read into and run with.

 
 

Artist Mark Wardel designed a set of giant inflatable stockinged and heeled legs as The Ting Tong Club entrance. And what an entrance it was – providing The Ting Tong Clubbers key selfie moments for social shares.

 
 

ODD 'TINGS' AND STRANGE HAPPENINGS

Off script performers invited club-goers into a truly weird world.

The Ninja Police Squad sexily scaled the walls of a 103 Bar magically re-imagined as The Can House, for the night. Fatty Fat Fat danced, in his own rhythm, to dark and gritty house. Ms Starlet strutted and Mr TV Overhead got turned on.

The Ting Tong Club is like a sexier Bermuda Triangle. Will you ever return to normal life?
