The 2018 Haven Travel Trade brochure is the first piece of comms to be produced as part of a massive brand overhaul with new look and feel. The new brochure needs to stand out amongst the others in the crowded rack in the travel agents. 

 
 

Route 1 Step Outside

Insight.

Let’s bring a breath of fresh air to brochure design and show everyone that Haven understands what it means to be inspiring and entertaining, down to every single detail.

Idea.

After dealing with the boss, the commute and city fumes it really does feel expansive getting away from daily life to the fresh sea air and new adventures.

In contrast to all the unappealing travel brochures that exist we want to stand-out in style, form and content.

We’ll create a beautifully crafted book with landscape panoramic shots. This book will have a premium, almost editorial look and feel.

Bringing a breath of fresh air to brochure design

Unfolding our premium book will feel like opening a window to Haven life.

The content will be printed on silk gloss stock so we can see the imagery in all its glory

The edges of the brochure will be cut in the shape of a wave and our readers will feel the breeze by flipping through our glossy, die cut pages, giving the effect of waves curling over in a deep blue ocean. The die cut edges will also act as a useful navigation tool for agents.

Route 2 Future Memories.

Most brochures are very promotional in their tone of voice, this can be quite unappealing and disingenuous. We want to cut straight to what matters most and hear from mum, dad, teenager, toddler and dog!

We will use visitors books and #myhavendays to curate rich, authentic stories and heartfelt experiences that people can connect to in the format of a modern, family holiday album.

 
 

The client decided to remix the routes of the pitch deck. Currently the design team are in the process of creating a fully paginated version.
